Zombies, The - Beechwood Park Lyrics
Do you remember summer days
Just after summer rain
When all the air was damp and warm
In the green of country lanes?
And the breeze would touch your hair
About your world
Your summer world
And we would count the evening stars
As the day grew dark
In Beechwood Park...
Do you remember golden days and golden summer sun
The sound of laughter in our ears
In the breeze as we would run?
And the breeze would touch your hair
About your world
Your summer world
And we would count the evening stars
As the day grew dark
In Beechwood Park...
Oh roads in my mind
Take me back in my mind
And I can't forget you
Won't forget you
Won't forget those days
And Beechwood Park...
And the breeze would touch your hair
Kiss your face and make you care
About your world
Your summer world
And we would count the evening stars
As the day grew dark
In Beechwood Park...
Oh roads in my mind
Take me back in my mind
And I can't forget you
Won't forget you
Won't forget those days
And Beechwood Park...

Favourite Zombies album because of amazing songs like Beechwood Park
Love so much this song and the album too!
Look up pink floyds in the beechwoods
wonderful cover album...
Very Procol Harum
The intro riff is haunting.
I found this song through Sugar Candy Mountain as they did a cover of this song a few years back. It sounds the same, but I guess you could say more modernized or revamped.
I love the Sugar Candy Mountain version!!! Normally, I can't stand remixes but that one is unforgettable. So good.
I'm glad it's posted because l haven't heard this one in quite some time. Where ever this place is at. It certainly sounds like an interesting place. I'd certainly like to go there no doubt to escape reality. Was there ever such a place? Probably somewhere in London. If there's a place it was The Zombies hangout. They sure made it sound interesting. It's a great song & thanks for posting it. Probably Rod Argent will point out the way.
One of the greatest songs ever written
don't know where Beechwood park is, but this song makes me want to be there so badly
Its close to St Albans
Craig Ingham is St. Albans in London? Because you replied to someone that Beechwood Park was near St Albans. In the song they sure make that place sound interesting.
@joe gongora Its 20 miles north just outside
Craig Ingham thanks for the info. The Zombies always had my vote dispite the fact they were underrated. That's the way things are in the music industry. Thanks again for the info & you have a wonderful day.
London, St Albans AL3 8AN, UK
I'm convinced Three Dog Night's "Old Fashioned Love Song" was heavily inspired by this.
Well then, thanks Vinesauce!
Trippy.
Vinny introduces me to such good music.
Sugar Candy Mountain's version on my channel.
Such an underrated band, amazing album.
This song has some serious swagger. Call me crazy but I could see someone sampling this.

@Jaimito Trifón Eguisastegui it depends, if it's creative and not a straight rip off it shouldn't be a problem
