@Carlos Jaquez he was in love with her, but he isn't anymore. This song isn't about Perrie. We don't know who it is about unless he tells us for a fact. As you can see by his second album the song Entertainer IS about Perrie and by other songs (I won't mention all of them). In these songs he's accusing a person of lying to him or maybe even cheating. They were great together, and Zayn did break up their engagement, but I'm sure he had a damn good reason why. Perrie is not the angel she seems to be. He may be singing about his family, or a friend, a place, a feeling, or literally anything by converting the lyrics to look like he's singing about a person.
