Zappa, Frank Clowns On Velvet Comments
  1. J.... W....

    Amazing!

  2. I.... ....

Eyebrows are huge on this ONE.

  3. S.... ....

Two paisano maestros. Never knew this coupling existed until hearing Peaches III.

  4. s.... ....

Zappa and Al?? Who would have thought?!!

  5. C.... M....

Al is so fucking cool for doing this!!!!

  6. s.... i....

    yeah, uh . . . ok . . . I don't know about this one . . . I think Mr. Di Leila sounds a little FUCKING drunk to me I mean sometimes what is real fast . . .
(solo wise) can also seem and/or sound real sloppy . . . he did shine with most of what he did with RTF!

    s.... i....

It was Di Meolas first time hearing the tune much less playing it. Hes definitely not drunk. Al says that frank called him and asked him to play on this tune as it was inspired by di meola's music.

  7. A.... A....

    Thats tight, so tight!

  8. S.... ....

Al asked Frank not to release the audio of this song, as he was not satisfied of his performance ( sic ). You know a musician is serious when he accepts the challenge of playing in a Zappa band. Magnificent stuff !

  9. m.... m....

It's as if Frank is saying..... "See. Italians can kick your ass in music"!!

    m.... m....

Indeed, but I also like the nice Latin rhythm thrown in there towards the end, too.

    m.... m....

    Italians were the original Latins.

    m.... m....

They can also kick ass in soccer. Vaffanculo 3:1.

  10. B.... ....

Awesome stuff! Familiar with many F.Z. tracks, never heard this. Thanks for sharing.

  11. p.... s....

    Another great Italian.

    p.... s....

That makes two of them total.

    p.... s....

Frank had a lot more than Italian 🍕. French, Arab and a few others.

  12. P.... S....

it's hard to joust with and dazzling 4 every person in planet music!!!

  13. H.... B....

Here, Meola sounds a lot like Gary Moore during his stint with Colosseum II.

  14. B.... M....

Two of the top Virtuosos on guitar. What a show that must have been.

  15. D.... A....

    Frank's playing with the students.

  16. d.... ....

I was there, definatly the greatest of all shows ive ever been to and thats alot.

    d.... ....

I cannot even imagine how incredible that was. And Ive seen SRV at Austin City Limits.

  17. E.... R....

    These guys are on fire!

  18. J.... R....

I always thought this was just a "legend"...pretty wild.

  19. I.... S....

    I.... S....

    I.... S....

Merci.

    I.... S....

@sara velazquez oui je dois me l'a faire enlever. Sans doute en mai. Tout dépend de ma fatigue. La Spondylarthrite n'arrangeant pas les choses.

    I.... S....
