The first time I heard this I thought it was from 68 or 72, but then I'm like "why would someone back then sing specifically like this? Maybe a backup singer, sure, but a lead?" and then I thought of artists who play distorted caricatures of antiquated music, and I'm like "ok yeah this has got to be recent."
