Sounds like an amalgamation of some of my favorite bands, with a lot of extra on the side. Love the animal collective-esque depth of sounds. Could listen to it 20 times and find something new each time.

such a good song with a great feel and really hits ya. more bands like this need to be noticed alot more like debris of titan, the lemon twigs, and pond. all great bands with fantastic music that are barely noticed!

The color and style of the album cover sort of reminds me of ugly casanova's sharpen your teeth.

this sounds like MGMT with a bunch of garage band filters over it.  

I like all sorts of genres, and I loved his first album, but I never got into this album. This song is just ok for me... Mute is the only song that I actually liked quite a bit, but even still, I liked his earlier stuff more. Of course we don't want him to keep repeating himself, but this album is nothing like the first, and I really dislike the way this album was produced. I was expecting it to sound better since it was produced by the same guy who produced Animal Collectives last two records, but I guess this is just how Trevor Powers wanted it to sound

So great is emotional effect of the vocals here that "You'll Never Die" simultaneously becomes a declaration and a plea.

Over 100 times. They both have this very dreamy affect. The wandering opening riff reminds me of the piano in hoppipolla.
