Youngbloods, The - That's How Strong My Love Is Lyrics

If I was the sun way up there
I'd go with her most everywhere
I'll be the moon when the sun go down
Just to let her know I'm still around

That's how strong my love is, darling
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is

I'll be the weeping willow drowning in my tears
You can go swimming when you are here
I'll be the rainbow when the tears are gone
Wrap you in my colours and keep you warm

That's how strong my love is
Oh baby, that's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is

I'll be the ocean so deep and wide
Get your tears whenever you cry
I'll be the breeze when the storm is gone
To dry your eyes and loves you once more

That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is

I'll be the ocean so deep and wide
Get your tears whenever you cry
I'll be the breeze when the storm is gone
To dry your eyes and loves you now, darling

Oh, I love you, yes I do
And my love is so strong for you

That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is

That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is
Oh my love, oh my love is so strong, darling
Oh, it's been so long, darling

That's how strong my love is
That's how strong my love is

  7. Jonathan Pratt

I've listened to every version I've ever found of this song,it's impossible to do a bad version. This is my favorite though. Death scene in a movie type good, like hero can't save everyone and the one who dies in his arms is the one he'll miss the most

  8. mil uza

Since I knew this song in the album Good and dusty, this version is the always best , and the best song of Young Bloods .
O.V.Wright version is also good , too.

  9. Gillis vg

Great group . Very clean sound .

  10. Dennis Collins

No disrespect to Otis but Jessie did it a lot better

  11. David Bryan

    Great voice and rhythm!

  12. BertjeAMG

    Perfect

  13. Sands of time

One thing you can say about the Youngblood's recordings, there was no fluff, no b.s. what you hear is the way it was sung.

Whoever did the sound for Elephant Mountain did a disservice and should be ashamed. Hissing & everything else. Even the CD was poorly done. With Jesse's solo work, ahhh. nice. Nonetheless I will never forget the Youngbloods. Jesse is still singing & out playing to sold out gigs as of 2018. Voice is still beautiful.
