I'm straight and I love Will Young, his music is so on point and so very deep. I have every single album ( which is actually hard to get in the states ) and they don't leave the cd player. I've been a fan for many years and feel it's a shame that he doesn't come to the US but at the same time I get it. I think he is incredible singer, dude has so much talent. It might also be because half my family is British :)

Finn you are so courageous and seem like a beautiful human being, surely that is all that should matter in this World. I hope your operation went well and I wish you well with your transition. This song and video truly touch my soul. My son is not transgender, but he was horrendously bullied at school from age 12 to 16 which left him a virtual recluse and with very bad depression etc. he is now 23 and still the same, my heart is breaking for him and everyone who has to suffer abuse and lack of understanding or compassion. What is wrong with so many people? Their emotional education is sorely lacking. I think schools should be showing this wonderful video to pupils as part of a drive to emotionally educate kids as it obviously isn't happening at home by their parents. We all have a right to be accepted for who we are regardless of looks, race, gender, colour, sexuality or religion, thank you so much Will and your team for a beautiful and profound song and video. However, one can change their physical appearance and their name and pronouns in order to live as the opposite sex, not to be the opposite sex. But the way I see it personally (I hope you dont mind me responding to such an old comment, but it's thus far un-responded-to and I feel you deserve an answer), when you're trans, a lot of people have a lot of suggestions on ways you can compromise to be 'safer'. They generally involve ways to seem less trans, seem less like yourself and more like something others are comfortable with, or to "cover up" (i.e. the cardigan)-- and that shields you from the metaphorical cold your 'naked' self feels in the presence of others. But it's unacceptable.
This is a brave man. He doesnt need to cover up. He can handle the cold.
