This is the end of CSNY / CSN, whatever. By this stage they had been sanded down to just another antiseptic american combo. Nothing special here just average and more average. Shame with so much talent.

chanctonbury63 disagree somewhat its a great whole listen to album. We had boat and would be on the water 2 or 3 in the morning floating listening to this c.d only lights where the stars above. Magical of course we were stoned as hell. But the harmonies from speaker to water to ear were fantastic! One great summer! I WANT TO GO BACK

Yes, Neil wrote this song, and I always thought it was one of his greatest, though it, and this album, has never gotten the credit they deserved.  At the time the album came out in 1988, CSNY had not released any new  songs since 1969!  That maybe explains the lukewarm reception. There are several great, and good, songs on this album, including Neil's "Feel your Love", and Stills' "Got It Made".  This is a great song of peace.

It's interesting that the CSN 77 album was so well received, with songs primarily by Stills and Nash, yet this one, with many by Neil, is not. Neil's solo stuff usually does well.

We were raising kids, going to university and just trying to make ends meet during the 80s. This album and this song especially help fill in the blanks on a decade that is often just a blur when I think back. Great song - excellent album.

Neil Young is such a stellar songwriter. This is one of the most touching songs I've ever heard.

My dad who passed away used to like this song very much. I remember hating this song, as I get older I found myself listening to this song and weep. Nothing compares, missed my dad....
