I LOVE THIS FUCKING BAND. Cherish them, the musical deliverance they create is so rare.

I met them after the concert that day at the back of the Showbox (Aloysius alluded us XD). Kayus is the coolest person ever <3 <3 <3 I wasn't expecting the show to have so much bass and impact, but you could feel that shit in your chest. Extremely powerful show, sold out, 10/10

Ive came around to watching the trainspoting 2, then I bought soundtrack for this movie to find the track (..ak47 take my brethren straight to haven etc..) just to find out that there is no such song, I was pissed. Then Ive used this app to track the song's name and author, and I loved it, then this video.
My question is, why the hell that is not so popular?? Why good shit stays behind the curtain of actual crap all the time? I hate rap and all shit related, just because of this mumbling R&B style that is on the car radios 24/7, then when I hear good music that is made by african americans(not a racist), I have to dig hard to find it.

A three year old with a Fred Flintstone keyboard and a pot to bang on could write better music. Plus the chap in the middle is a racist

I have to cringe when these guys pay thousands or dollars for album art when they could get an amateur on board and it would just be the same, or better.

I was so hoping you'd bring them back again and here it is, just not long after seeing them play at the the 02 Acadmey in Bristol (UK, for anyone overseas). There's a comraderie with YF fans I rarely see, and it's a sight to behold. Everyone lost it when they played "Toy" and "Get Up". The whole room was just a tidal wave of electrified, stimulated bodies. Barely a dry eye in the house when they finished playing "In My View" too. The moment of that opening line "...with my belly in the water..." being sung, it really hits in the feels. Every song I wanted to hear from them (bar "Nest" sadly), they played. Loved all of it. It's really unlike anything else. Even the way they perform and work the stage is so uniquely them.

I'm so glad Young Fathers are back on KEXP!! Their performance for White Men Are Black Men Too a few years ago was absolutely fantastic. I saw them live in Bristol Recently too, they are fantastic live. Please everybody, do yourself a favour and listen to these guys live, they are the best live performance I've ever watched!! The Energy from all band members was fantastic, and every song performed was so powerful and electrifying, and the Drummer is absolutely brilliant. Please watch Young Fathers live everybody, they deserve the support!! Thank you for all your music Young Fathers. This was yet another great performance on KEXP, I hope you guys return when your new album releases in the next few years!! Well Done!!
