without the others no one would take a second glance at him...actually hipsters would be all over him, especially with the way he dresses nowadays.

Regardless, I like A Moon Shaped Pool and have faith in Radiohead still.

Can't fully agree with that especially in some live performances, songs that in the album would pass unnoticed, when played live in a solo setting gain an extra dimension, good examples would be: the clock, analyze, ingenue, like spinning plates.

What's the matter with making some ambient music? He makes a more experimental track and then suddenly it's "can't go wrong status". wtf?

+OneMinuteFixed While that may be true I don't get the sense that Thom is trying to recreate his old "OK Computer" glory days nor is he trying to take his music to the next big level, it feels moreso like he's just experimenting and trying out slightly new sounds and occasionally goes in a more ambient direction but it's not like he's saying to his fans "You can expect this from here on out.."
