I dearly want Thom Yorke to release this version of the song, properly.
We can clearly hear that it's meant to continue onwards after it fades out, and I'm guessing it fades out like that only because that's as long as the song needed to be for whatever Rag N Bone show it was used for or whatever.
Either way, I like this version more than the one we got on Anima. It's longer and has better build up.

The anima version is a huge let down. He kept doing this weird echoing wailing in this song and in not the news and idk why he insist on it, I personally find it cringe.

@K-leb don't get me wrong the song is genius but im not the biggest fan of that little detail that's all. The echoes on the high pitched wails are a bit much for me.

This version is far superior to the anima version.

Anyone have any idea how he is creating that low fi kick drum pattern in the beginning of the track? I know he likes the 707 drum machine, and has used it a lot...perhaps the drum machine with a some kind of tape delay pedal?

It sounds like the same synth that comes after just lowered a few octaves

Vocals are so crisp. Sharing the same tone as Tame Impala

And his lyrics and voice are incredibly touching...kind of a modern shamen that opens our third eye,haha ! Love this track tremendously,madly ! Hope i find more of it ;)

He is a starchild... outside the box with a projection back within... one of the first of the children born like this within the Xgen, too figure it out. Remember 2001 A Space Oddessy. The film didn't finish with the scene & the metaphor of 'The Star Child' without it being the... to be continued

A real fine track of Thom...i think he is one of the most talented artists these days,amelgamating styles in a very clever unique way...this music needs and deserves our concentration,its like with the long songs of Pink Floyd or Krautrock...and its neat to modern classic music even,he pushes forewards what Radiohead already were doing ! Jonny Greenwood is also a great talent,i heard his classic ambient movie music and was astonished by the result...these two guys do music with head and heart,rare today and hardly missed for years,its very exciting to follow their work !
