Yo La Tengo - Pass The Hatchet, I Think I'm Goodkind Lyrics
Unplug the microphone
The ticker tape scream
They're all desensitized
Grown so backwards
Crush a [?]
Down the water slide
Slide slide slide
Down the water slide
Unplug the microscope
The ticker tape stream
[?]
It's easy to be quiet
But harder than it seems
While I slide slide
Slide slide slide
Down the water slide
Unplug the microphone
The ticker tape screams
Then I burst through
On a sound attack
Can't see for miles
Can't see the pavement for the street
Down the water slide
Slide slide slide
Down the water slide
Slide
Slide

Totally awesome jam
Ira Kaplan = white Jimi Hendrix?
after this go listen Jimi Hendrix - Machine Gun
cHINGÓN, ^-^-<3.
yeah so I saw them play this on the Norwegian Pearl during the 2019 Boaty Weekender festival hosted by Belle and Sebastian. Ira Kaplan went nuts with the improvised distortion, I think he was dragging the guitar across the keyboard at some point. There we were, sailing aimlessly in the middle of the Mediterranean, listening to this sonic insanity while being grounded by an intensely focused rhythm. One of the best moments of my life.
Damn this is incredible.....
This band makes really good fizzy ear drinks
Here because of the David Chang podcast
Bands from the post-internet era just don't stand a chance at comparing to musicians with talent honed proper
Please stop with this fucking "le wrong generation" garbage, great music is continuing to be made and will always continue to be made
This song is an epic. What a journey.
Fkn rocking...
Listen to this live if you ever have the chance...
thanks for the awesomeness
