Fanboy has nothing to do with it, I deal in the facts.
The fact is that Yngwie is an incredible guitarist who has inspired many guitar players around the world. That speaks for itself.

Yngwie is one of the greatest electric guitarists of all time. Being a fanboy has nothing to do with it, it's the truth.

Every Hater is a Music Critic when it comes to Yngwie and his playing. Don't they know he bows to on one and will do as he darn well pleases. How many years has he been in the business and they are still trying to change him.

Some people, UNFORTUNATELY, have trouble or find it difficult "to march to beat of a different drummer." In other words, "to avoid ridicule," they "shed their OWN indentity" in favor of "embracing popularity." In my opinion, FORTUNATELY, Sir Yngwie, TO THIS DAY, "shows or has NO DIFFICULTY" in "thinking for HIMSELF."

For you haters- among guitarists- who has more albums? In this album he does EVERYTHING. Any other guitarist play all the instruments, program the keyboards and drums, does vocals, and produce/mix an entire album? Nobody comes close to the maestro, so put your girlie panties on and LEAVE.

Pendragon  TESTICLES!  Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine, Joey Tafolla, Ritchie Kotzen, etc are all doing things different than when they first came on the scene!  e.g. Joey no longer does the neoclassical shit on albums, Ritchie Kotzen went on to play with Vertu (alongside bass legend Stanley Clarke) they were jazz fusion band.  Go compare quality of production on last Axel Rudi Pell album ('Into The Storm')compared to SHITE - the past several albums by Yngwie, not only far superior production but far better sound quality too - why??? Because Axel really cares & Yngwie simply doesn't.  I have a Masters in music. clearly you know little about music theory & it seems not much about the music scene either. Likewise! In my opinion, Yngwie is SO VERSATILE, it should or oughta' make other guitarists "sick to their stomach!"

Just pointing out that Paul Gilbert does a lot in his albums as well, is just as technically impressive (more so imho), probably has a similar number of albums, and doesn't produce the same sounding material that he did when he started. I do love Yngwie's style and music though. I don't think he does need to sound drastically different than he did back in the day or change what he's doing in any way. But I don't think that saying he's the only one on his level is accurate.

Ynqwie is amazing- he is one of the best musicians of any kind in the world, but that doesn't mean I like everything he's done. It's a long career and you just can't expect someone to be perfect all the time- perfection doesn't exist. This is great. Hearing this I'd buy this album happily and love it. I'm a guitarist too- I know how hard it can be. Stratovarius and Yngwie, Randy Rhoades, Blackmore, Schenker all had a huge impact on me. Having said that I can't write songs! That is a tough thing.

This is terrible. He just follows the root with the vocal lines, there's no sense of melody at all. And his vocal tone is very poor.
And the mix is terrible - it's so mushy.
Sorry, I've been a huge fan of Yngwie for years, but it's been downhill for some time now, and this is a career-killer.
