Yes - To Be Over Lyrics
We go sailing down the calming streams,
Drifting endlessly by the bridge.
To be over, we will see, to be over.
Do not suffer through the game of chance that plays;
Think it over, time will heal your fear, think it over.
Balance the thoughts that release within you.
Childlike soul dreamer.
One journey, one to seek and see in ev'ry light
Do open true pathways away.
Carrying closer,
Go gently, holding doors will open ev'ry way
You wander true pathways away.
After all your soul will still surrender.
After all don't doubt your part,
Be ready to be loved.

Yes To Be Over Comments
Música perfeita para encerrar esse álbum incrível.
This would be in my top 5 Yessongs!
Who wants to go home? I do not belong here
Relayer is a considerably better album than "Fragile" or "Close to the Edge", but gets relatively few plaudits. Dunno why... ("GFT1" is even better, of course!)
*Happy birthday, Relayer <3*
_45 years!_
i love this song. wish it had a couple more (opening) verses. the lyrical melody is beautiful.
I saw Yes in 2003 play in Estepona, Spain; and Steve Howe played this song instrumentally with his acoustic guitar, but it took time to recognize it. ^^
Absolute MASTERWORK 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏BELOVED CHRIS SQUIRE REST IN PEACE ✌️ ☮️ dear soul 😔🙏
This song convinced me to buy a Fender volume pedal to play the guitar/violin opening with the reverb on my Fender Twin turned up.
Sending a message of love to you
Have a wonderful day
Listen to this the first time on 93 wmmr
And it was probably Ed Sciaky that played it. He was a big fan of this album. And THE ONLY PERSON to be there to greet YES at the airport when they arrived in America for the 1st time, touring in support of The Yes Album, '71....
Penetrating to the soul..
Fantastic
Heavenly
Pump up the volume
Howe in the intro is outstanding
Those group vocals at the end are enchanting
Soundtrack to my stoned teenage years. No other way to say it....😎
After ' Sound Chaser ' we needed a serious breather hehe the band knew that !
This is a great album to make love to. AWESOME
Jon Anderson and Steve Howe were amazing
New som du lay

First listened to them in the mid-70s and have been hooked ever since. Their avant garde delivery and technical precision just blows me away everytime. Eternal happiness on your musical journey beyond the stars, Mr. Squire.
Wonderful music!
Relayer was such a great album
A masterpiece
God! Those guitar notes...
One of the greatest sleeper songs to ever end an album. Honestly, for such an underrated piece of work in the Yes catalog, this album is just as superior to anything done before and was certainly refreshing after Tales from Topographic Oceans. Then again, Yes is just extremely underrated, in general. Probably cause their work actually requires thought and people don't know how to accomplish that anymore.
Some of Relayer is a bit of an acquired taste, but this song is incredible, and is a perfect vehicle for all of the players to shine.
That ending... just wow
I love the middle section of this song 4:25 to 6:35
Saw them play Relayer live 8 times in 1975.
That Album is sensational !
Julie Cowlam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🎶❤️🙏❤️🎶
After all .. Your soul will still surrender
After all Don't doubt Your part
Be ready to be Loved......................
Chris Squire had a studio out in his barn .
Where this was recorded...someone tell me if I'm wrong
Those string synths are absolutely beautiful........
Mellotron strings, I believe. I think Patrick Moraz fiddled around with a rival product to Streetly Electronics (makers of the Mellotron) for a bit, but this recording has Mellotron written all over it.
After all Your soul will still surrender
After all Don't doubt Your part be ready to be Loved ....................
Carrying closer..hold gently ...holding doors will open everyway
You wander true pathways a wayy
Childlike soul dreamer one journey...one to seek and see in every light ...
do open ...true pathways
away........
Think it over ... time will heal You fear Think it over
Balance the thoughts that release within You
Do not suffer through the game of chance
that plays
always doors to lock away Your dreams
We go sailing down the calming streams
Drifting endlessly, by the bridge
So wonderful...has some odd metre.....
it is very colorful
One of the most underrated Yes tracks. Period.
Get's me emotional.
At the top of their game. Yes and Genesis creates the most beautiful prog rock.
Since I listened to this work more than 40 years ago, it always left me with a state of tranquility and peace that I could not describe, later with digital media I selected it to finish listening to music as its name says To Be Over.
Rediscovering this tune!! Thanks so much YES!!
I forgot about this masterpiece. I don't think I've heard this in 40 years. What a trip on my mind to go back so far. I need to pick this up on CD and/or see what condition my album is in, unless it's one that I left behind escaping my ex husband in 1982. ~ Rest in Peace, Chris Squire. ~ I don't understand why YES has suddenly appeared back in my life, but I am so glad it has. It's like meeting an old lost friend and being wrapped in the warmth of their embrace.
Thanks for capturing my feelings about YES. They've reappeared in my life and are bigger than ever. I guess greatness is never forgotten entirely.
Come in to the fold you wonderful folks ...............
I also hadn't heard this in 35 years. I saw the title and thought I wouldn't know it, but remember having the album, so played it and......knew every word and anticipated every twist and turn. It's the closest thing to being born again. Wonderful wonderful music.
One of nicest comments I've read from yes fans
Have someone that knows how to do it ,put it on Disc from here for you.
Of all the great works that Yes has given us - this album, for me, shines the brightest.
I agree, 'Relayer' is also my favorite YES album.
TRANZEURO me too most times.
is without R.Wakeman...instead P.Morraz
All my love to Chris...
RIP Chris Squire
Victor Hernandez : the greatest ever !!!!!!! Saw this tour 10th row at The Long Beach Arena with ACE opening - best show of my life 🎶🙏❤️🙏❤️
Beautiful, amazing music...grew up on this and all other Yessongs. When I hear it I still cry...I'm a bass player today thanks to my hero Chris Squire.
...Chris Squire : Genius....
I am a bass player because of Christopher Squire too! I even got to meet him once. I told him I was a bass player and he was very kind to me. A great man and a great musician.
First :)
...Kick Back & ENJOY !....
Daniel Baker I cannot think of better words, rock on Everyone who knows.
