Yes - Countryside Lyrics
Lost in the English countryside
Father was made to sacrifice
Goodness was left to reason why
On election day he said goodbye
Even the rule of conscience ends
It's too late we're changing nature's course
Rest assured this house will not be gained
On election day
On election day
Lost in the English countryside
Goodness was left to reason why
On election day he had to leave
In the sky the leaders take control
Even the rule of conscience ends
It's too late we're changing nature's course
Rest assured this house will not be gained
On election day he had to leave
Goodbye

Yes goes Acid Folk! This could have been a killer song if they'd finished it and Rick joined in and added something.
First time hearing this "yes" version. Song was later recycled by Steve Howe into a tune called "Corkscrew". Definitely prefer the "Corkscrew" version.
Cool song!
