Yes - Bring Me To The Power Lyrics
This state in the matrix of the real world thinking
This way is meant to surface through the 'net
This train is set to mystify
This day in the history of the future
This train is set to justify
This day is of the meeting now
If they don't give us the keys how are we supposed to get ready?
If they don't give us the keys how are we to survive?
Cover me up and bring me to the power
Cover me up and bring me to the power
Cover me up and bring me to the power
All I know is all I want to give you
Cover me up get closer to the power
Cover me up get closer to the power
Cover me up get closer now
Cover me up get closer to the power
God talk
God talk, now, talk
God talk
Give a little-ation
God talk, revelation
God talk, revelation
If they don't give 'em the keys
If we don't give 'em the keys
How are they supposed to be ready
If we don't give 'em the keys
How are they to divine
If we don't give 'em the keys
How are they supposed to be ready
If we don't give 'em the keys
How are they to survive
Cover me up and bring me to the power
Cover me up and bring me revelation
If we don't give 'em the keys
How are they supposed to be ready
If you don't give 'em the keys
How are they to survive
The power of love can open every heart in everyone
Minute by minute...........

Yes Bring Me To The Power Comments
Good to find this amazing track on here.
Thankyou.
Thanks again!!!.
Thank you, vzqk.
I will never leave again.
I have finally returned home.
No one played Bass like Chris. BOOM.
The power is inside of you, and you have the key.
Interesting, creative song, quite different from their previous material.
Another career Mainframe person, and a lifelong YES fanatic - thanks so much for all you've done - with all music!
The Jam at the end is really good. Steve's still got it.
The little duel between Steve and Rick are like, Bet you've never heard these licks before. After all these decades these guys still have new licks to show us.
YES! Everyone have the power inside.
Christ, The Wisdom of God, The Power of God. In Him All Things are Yes and Amen. C'mon Jon, didn't those three days you almost went to the grave wake you up yet?
One of their best songs of the last 2 decades!!
Vzqk is the ROCKINEST spot I've found to date. Gonna spread the word...
Someone over at progarchives mentioned this in their list of top Yes songs and I didn't recognize it by name but yes I do know it since I have studio keys. Good track.

Grab the Keys and let us go for a ride into the Now that exists everyday
LO MAXIMO!!!!!!!!
@vgmc7650 would definitely recommend KTA2 over KTA
@sponsler I might recommend KTA2 more than KTA, whose studio tracks sounded kind of weak and hurriedly put together..maybe due to lack of new material during a 2.5-year lull? (And over another year until KTA2 and Open Your Eyes were released in the same month!) I wasn't too impressed with Fly From Here, but it is the newest material, and reaching #36 [with no airplay in Lansing, MI] is a good rebound from the dismal #186 peak of Magnification (though Classical Crossovers chart had it at #7).
One of the few times where Jon hits the low notes...like in "The Ancient" (part 3), "Sound Chaser", and "Animation". Also one of the few songs where no lyrics were printed with the album...as with Union and some inclusions on In a Word. They used the same "middle drop-out" schtick (where Squire's effecter-enhanced bass dominates the bridge) on "Open Your Eyes".
The lyrics were included with the initial release. In fact, it was very colorful and included photos. When those copies ran out, the inserts weree no longer included.
One of their better songs! Some of their stuff goes unnoticed- but not by me!
