Yellowcard - Illuminate Lyrics
It's hard to think where we began
We were born and learned to stand
Recollections scattered out inside my head
We came across a broken road
With broken hearts that overflowed
Do you picture me, what do you see?
Maybe a future full of unwritten things
We hope to write from what's been done
Look for a future no one else has sung
Records on, the speakers blown
Fill the air with what we know
Climb a ladder up and hang a hopeful sign
Never lonely, never lost
Revolutions come and go but we survive
Do you picture me, what do you see?
Maybe a future full of unwritten things
We hope to write from what's been done
Look for a future no one else has sung
Our darkest days are done (illuminate)
Rise like a brighter sun (illuminate)
Our darkest days are done (illuminate)
Rise like a brighter sun(illuminate)
As we get warm, ice will get thin
We'll become ghosts, together again
As we ascend, air will get thin
We'll become ghosts, together again

Hey, does anyone know of any other bands that have a sound like this? I'm talking about strictly Yellowcard's new stuff, it has a spark that I've been looking for forever now, the only other band that has it is Angels & Airwaves, and until these 2 bands release new albums I'm searching for other music like this. Anyone help me out?
+Finalflash50 try Story of The Year
Yellowcard says that Jimmy Eat World are their biggest influence right now.

I give this a like because I want to support them. Not for the purpose of fame, but for their dedication and persistence in bringing up good music in us.
2:32 FAVORITE PART!!! Along with the instrumental and the chorus and of course..... THE OUTRO!!! Doesn't get better than that.
They've still got it. This and Lift A Sail are two of Yellowcard's best songs
They sure do. This album has a little bit of everything and each song is unique in there own way. I loved the whole album. I listen to it every single day.
my thoughts exactly, the title track and this (Illuminate) are my two faves on the new album.
