The voice is the late great Billy Mackenzie, Look on YouTube for the song that he wrote for Yello, titled "The Rhythm Divine" . There is two versions, one sung by Shirley Bassey with Yello and the best version with Billy singing it. Amazing voice.

C’est comme si l’on entrait dans un de ces palaces d’Europe centrale à l’architecture pâtissière style religieuse au chocolat. Dans chaque pièce où l’on pénètre, les individus sont habillés en noir et blanc des pieds à la tête. Ils ont cette étrange absence dans les yeux tout en vous regardant fixement. Les plafonds sont peints, le mobilier est d’un luxe indescriptible et le marbre veiné des tables reflète l’évanescente sérénité de l’endroit ! Tout y est rigide, jusqu’au temps qui s’écoule derrière les lambris, comme aux aguets..... ;)

tinfoilhatter When I was 17 this album was always playing in my tape recorder. I was listening it more then a year and new every sound of it. Really one of the greatest albums ever for me. And the most favorite of Yello.

I love Yello; I buy all there albums. What I can't find on CD or Vinyl, I listen to on Youtube.

I can also see Ali's point, as do you. Hearing too much of one particular artist or act can often undermine their uniqueness and mysteriousness, but on the other hand, not hearing them enough means that they are denied the chance of major success, which Yello so richly deserve. But as long as there are people like you, Ali and I to spread the word about these guys, they will never be forgotten or go out of fashion. They are way, way above all that simplistic media hype!
