One of the very few albums I can listen to over and over like it's the first time. This is one of the most gorgeous songs I've ever heard.

i can't believe its been 2 years already

olly is someone really important to them, like a religious leader or something like that, and then he died. people went to his funeral, and you can see that there's a guy with his hands raised and totally white eyes (maybe "praying" or conjuring something or even olly to come back to his body), there's a girl whose nose was bleeding which may means she was using some "power", there's a bug over the flowers near his body which could be "him" just waiting to be resurrected (???), there's a woman wearing a kinda weird outfit which puts what seems a tarot card (death card i guess), there's a man who enters the place looking up, maybe, seeing something? there's someone with a book (bible or spell book idk), there's a lot of candles, and finally there's an hourglass, and, when the hourglass time finishes he finally wakes up. when he wakes up, every single person put their arms on the person ahead, meaning they are together for olly, meaning they're together thankful for olly's presence and resurrection.

Apparently something really dark brought me here. And for some equally dark reason, this song and the video and the lyrics and even at times the singing style are VERY reminiscent of FKA twigs. No doubt though, this song is quite engulfing in a dark, dark, way.

at 1:48 they show a certain sign on the boys head, this sign is also painted on a tree at 1:50 in the official video clip of years and years - take shelter. Does anyone know what this sign means? I can't find it anywhere..

I've been searching for the meaning as well! I've only heard people tell it stands for Take Shelter (the T and S) and the triangle is for the three main members of the group. But this explanation isn't confirmed or anything.

hmm.. it does make sence for the other video so thank you :) but it doesn't for this one does it? :p but this is closer answer than what i have found so far! i did find a sign similar to this one on the internet and that says that it means a spiritual cleanse..:)

Late reply I know but I have also been wondering what it means and today when I was watching the video for Eyes shut, I saw the sign again :o So it's in more videos too!

I guess it just really means Take Shetler. If you think about it, it does make sense to be in the take shelter video, 'cause it's the name of the song, but in the other videos, like in eyes shut and in this one, it can actually be like an advice

But to me this video doesn't make sense, anyway. I just don't understand the concept of the lyrics plus the video, neither one or another seperated from each other, find it beautiful though.
