Yardbirds, The - Questa Volta Lyrics

Lo so, non mi credi perché sai che potrei (io potrei)
io potrei dimenticarmi anche di te

Però questa volta non sarà più così (più così)
e vedrai che questa volta non finirà

Mai mai mai, dico mai mai mai, io ti lascerò

[English Translation:]

I know you don't believe me because you know I could forget even you
But this time will be different and you'll see that this time
My love will last forever
Never, no, never will I leave you or stop loving you

Yardbirds, The Questa Volta Comments
  1. P.... S....

    Definitely not The Yardbirds material.

  2. j.... M....

According to Yardbird's singer Keith Relf this was recorded in Los Angeles California at a recording studio on Sunset Strip in 1965 with session musicians, and is a major reason the Yardbirds fired Gorgio Gomelsky as their producer!

    j.... M....

Gomelsky was the best producer for them. This sounds pure California beach music. Relf has a great voice and he works with this song nicely but this is Yardbird type of material.

  3. D.... C....

I don't hate it.... courage lads!

  4. J.... G....

    Tremendous song!

  5. M.... L....

Did you know that Jeff refused to play on these tracks?

    M.... L....

Yea, I don't blame Beck not wanting to play. The California sound doesn't fit Beck's nor The Yardbirds bluesy image. This song is awful. Keith Relf has a great voice. Why do a song that is just plain ugly.

  6. P.... C....

    Not bad

  7. g.... ....

Me encanta este acento Ingles cantando en Italiano...SUBLIME!!!

  8. v.... ....

This is only Keith Relf, no other Yardbirds present in the studio, it was a solo single attempt, produced by Giorgio Gomelsky for release in Italy.
Inspired probably by Mick Jagger's solo recording of 'As tears go by', sung in Italian!
it was recorded in Los Angeles on a Sunset Strip recording studio, according to Keith Relf (interview 1974)
    Google: "Keith Relf Interview'

    v.... ....

According to Jim McCarty's book and Wiki, they are all on it except Jeff Beck. He refused to pick up his guitar in the studio.

  9. M.... ....

    che italiano

  10. T.... H....

    Bra tycker jag.

  11. n.... ....

horrendous.probably recorded on mickie most's insistence.guy was such a tool.

  12. N.... t....

I disagree. This song is fantastic and am glad it happened. I always imagined it pairing well in a Scorsese film.

  13. m.... w....

A historical rarity. I saw an interview with Keith Relf (the singer) where he says this was the most ridiculous thing their manager ever forced them into. I agree!
