Weird Al should make a sequel to UHF based on digital sub channels in 480p. Maybe call the movie 480 Pixels or 480p

I haven't seen the movie yet, but judging by this awesome theme song and that it's made by one of my favorite celebs, I'll definitely be checking it out! Something tells me that Al's been robbed!

Weird Al is the king of parody music.

This is an original song Al wrote for his movie. Over half of Al's 14 studio albums are his amazing original songs. But, because Al isn't given any air time, people aren't aware of his great original songs. I don't know why the radio doesn't put funny songs into their rotation.
Btw, isn't it amazing now much he changes his looks for each lead singer he parodies in this?

I think I miss a bit of the joke (in UK) as I don't know what the UHF is a about. Brill video love the Prince moments & exploding TV. I do think MTV which is what he's mocking changed so much for music, but it was a rare treat in my home. Now hear is wear I get to see the new & fav's of music, hope to see Weird Al tour in UK soon.

The more I watch Weird Al’s old music videos, the more I seriously appreciate the level of detail his production team put into mimicking the look of the source material. Especially here.

The sequel could be a satire on modern video streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, CBS On Access, DC Universe, and Disney +. They could called it "UHF On Demand"

You really had to have been there, watching MTV, the popular vids, the MTV ads - his parodies are spot on perfect. And I don’t gaf what the critics said (even Siskal and Ebert, RIP), UHF was DAMN funny. Wish AL had done more movies.

When I was a little child I used to think these clips from UHF were all parodies of movie scenes because of the Indianna Jones and Rambo one but they're all from an actual film my mind was blown

My family was the last holdout of UHF. We had our old clunky 13-channel console TV until 1970; it did not get UHF channels. If I was lucky enough to have a friend with UHF, I could then watch "Soupy Sales". Alas, by the time my family actually got an updated TV, Soupy was no longer on-the -air.

Considered now to be an indispensable classic, but was CRIMINALLY unappreciated in it's time.

Such a shame this movie never had the proper chance in the theatre when it was tossed in the middle of one of the biggest summer blockbuster seasons there ever was.

Shockingly, I think it holds up better than most of them.
I mean way back then, I watched E.T as a kid and loved it. Today, I think E.T is shit.
