If you ask me, This nigga was too depressed to be on the mic. Fuck singing about it, he needed real help bad. His music is dope but I mean it is impressively depressing. I wasn’t a fan of his before he died. when he was alive he was just known for “look at me” & “sad”, and those joints didn’t move me. I don’t know if y’all remember, but this man had the worst public image I’ve ever seen in a celebrity. After he died, I looked into his music and realized how talented he was. RIP dude.

An artist is never "too much" of anything that should serve as reason for them to stay away from expressing their emotions and ideas. That's what makes them an artist and individual. Sad songs wouldn't even exist if artists actually used that logic. Do you think they can step away from their career for years at a time until they recover until they can make the song? Or what?


He was recovering near the end of his life. It was not a bad decision to incorporate his feelings into his music. Music is something that brings people together and gives them something to relate to. It brought millions of people a sense of comfort. That says something about the generation demographic that listens to him. They were just as sad as he was, perhaps more. Are they 'too depressed' to like his music too?

Galaxi well its kind of like when Tupac made hit’em up. Yes you could say “it’s just music” and it could never be “too much” but I think there reaches a point where it can.
