Totally thought this song was about a relationship! Its about friendship! I love the song but sometimes hate reading what the artist was thinking when writing. Totally deflated that passion I felt when I first listened! I almost feel it would be more beneficial for artist not to share the meaning and let individuals dictate/create what the song means to them....OAN: Fire as ALWAYS!

Holly B It's absolutely about friendship for me. My best friend and I recently had a falling out and he walked away, but I can't. He's my brother. this song has helped in my healing.

A real friend will eventually come around!!! Friendship is a family-hood. Don't get down, logic the situation, reach out if needed....and if your friend don't respond, know its ok to walk away. Sometimes we think we may "know" people and find out after years, that they weren't the person we may have thought they were. Remember your strengths when you listen to this song and what made you a great friend to him! We cant change peoples actions or reactions to how they feel but we def dictate our responses.
