Seriously underrated song. This makes me imagine some weird unspoken ritual in distant city. Whenever a member of one of the cities gangs dies, the rest of their gang and anyone else who say it hold up their lighters, tiny sparks of flame in a night full of sorrow. Slowly, one person at a time, people start to see and join in, until the light eventually spreads across the whole city. Regardless of gang, culture, background, whether they even know who was killed, everyone who sees the lights joins in, a beautiful show of silent respect for the dead.
