Song gives me hope.

My love is 28 I'm 25, her mother and father are extremely abusive. It's caused their other children to flee and move away. They got mad when I said they needed to treat her better and began threatning us and doing everything from stalking in person and online because they didn't want her dating someone that would stand up for her, who made her happy. There's alot if racism and hatred for anyone who comes close to her. They tried to tear us apart several times. They threatened to have me arrested and to take legal action because they don't want their daughter dating a mutt like me but she loves me and the more we vowed to stay together the angrier and more dangerous it got.

Last week they threatened to do something to make her homeless if we didn't break up in 24 hours as she called me crying. They then threatened via calls to arrest me again. Upon calling the local detective I learned that the police won't protect us in anyway unless they slip up and leave the physical threats in a text. So we were ripped apart. Until recently. We began talking more in other ways, we're both afraid. This song reminds me of her. I hope that we can stay strong through this. My family won't back us, they know the specific type of cunning racism from her parents has killed individuals before throughout the history of that community in this state (her family's Jewish, in that area the Jewish community has murdered people of color for dating their daughters here in the past) so my family is too damn afraid to support me dating her but we're both thought of killing ourselves forced apart by this racism any longer.

Instead I'm surviving, barely and trying to be an example, as is she. Dark times here in America, of course her parents are adamant supporters of our current racist dog of a president and both I and love have the same Neurological dissability so I'm not surprised they'd bully us.

This song about made a grown ass man break down in the middle of work. From someone who has tried to commit suicide many times, this song hits home.
