countrygirl country musiclover you must be really young if you can't tell the difference. Listen to the drums for 1...today's country is more pop sounding if u listen. Rarely hear any violin or banjo anymore. If u do hear any steel guitar it sounds more pop rock than country. Today's "country" is no longer country. Granted it's still good music for the most part but it's just not country to most folks anymore. It's so far off the beaten path. If you honestly can't see the difference then I dont know wat else to tell you.

@Brent Boere everybody was building up Chris Stapleton ,and I had never heard him before.So I listened to his version of Tennessee Whiskey.Not impressed at all.Couldnt even listen to the whole song .But sadly he is one of the better singers on todays radio.Thank God for Sirius and Youtube.

Do yourself a favor and play the whole traveler album and his newer albums.
Also, his old band "the steeldrivers" is great as well.
