World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, The Blank #9 Comments
  1. Z.... F....

ah twiabp before they had like 5 guitarists

  2. K.... T....

You cannot mask nihilism with chords. That's what this is, the rejection of universal truth. Masked heresy

  3. O.... A....

The spoken words ruined it all, it's not a church it's a band trying to play music...
Jesus Christ it pissed me of soo bad when the song started...
I want to listen to the instrumentals in peace...and the dude destroyed the whole feeling of the song....with his hipster fanatic dreams.
I hope they dont do this shit EVER AGAIN!

  4. K.... B....

what a grandiose set of songs.

  5. A.... W....

english subtitle the word part ? please anyone

  6. J.... G....

I watch this video once a week

  7. C.... T....

It's funny. He was talking about not believing in anything, while sounding like a christian singer doing a random prayer right before they play Oceans.

  8. M.... B....

im so glad they got rid of the over the top try hard poet guy

  9. S.... ....

    Astrophysics music. Love it.

  10. J.... S....

The intro was beautiful, and reminded me of my own thoughts as a younger man. But now I feel like it's little more than whistling in the dark with sentimentality. In terms of songs, ZAO's "Everything You Love Will Soon Fly Away" is much more honest about the nature of what the singer is talking about. If there is no God, there is nothing. For me, this hopelessness was a step to me coming to search for God, and ultimately finding life in Christ-- to a radiant hope that will not fade. Anyways... I love the song, and wish everyone here peace and strength in whatever journey you're on.

  11. B.... ....

it's not Blank #9 it's Blank #8 / Precipice from the album between bodies :)

  12. P.... A....

Could someone write all what the guy said it when the song begun?

  13. B.... T....

is that general sam on the drums

  14. S.... S....

The World is a Beautiful Zach Galifianakis and I am No Longer Afraid to be Between Two Ferns.

  15. G.... ....

The spoken word part is fucking beautiful and makes this song 10x better.

  16. D.... A....

The poetry on this songs way better here then on their EP. The melodic post-rock instrumental in the back really helps the whiny emo spoken word. The music on the EP sounded kind of muddy too me and not really nice to the ears.

  17. O.... G....

This real music. These are real musicians. This is absolutely beautiful.

  18. A.... L....

You think this dude just learned the meaning of the word "precipice " and wanted to write some trite poetry around it?

  19. C.... C....

    I hat you because you you's a singer picture><

  20. R.... S....

    I fuckin love you guys.

  21. J.... P....

Awesome Performance! -I'm so glad I got to see these guys in their prime. Ever since Greg left the band there's just been a total lack of quality control on stage. Their set-list selections and set-list organization have gone downhill considerably. I'm sure they will still find success in the studio, but man I miss Greg. He is such an awesomely unique musician that I believe was more important than anyone gave him credit for...

  22. A.... G....

This band was great until they lost Thomas Diaz as vocals!! I can't stand the spoken word shit!! I only support Formlessness, josh is dead, and whenever if ever!!!

    A.... G....

sick dude. did you even listen to harmlessness?

    A.... G....

100% agree. he was the heart of the band.

  23. N.... F....

    Holy fuck, the drums.

  24. B.... L....

awful, dialled in, cliche, whiny, shit

    B.... L....

    much like your comment

    B.... L....

Listen to the studio version. Doesn't have the godawful spoken word. So much better.

    B.... L....

the problem with closed minded individuals such as yourself is that their mouth is always open

  25. H.... V....

    SO FUCKING PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

  26. g.... t....

    NEED THE LYRICS POETRY

  27. C.... W....

    SUPER fucking rad.

  28. l.... B....

This drummer is in the perfect genre, hes going hard.

    l.... B....

I feel like he fits better in skramz or old school emocore like City of Caterpillar, Pg.99, Saetia, Orchid. He plays heavier than what the rest of the band plays. Although, that makes it refreshing.

Honestly I wish I could hear Steven Buttery (the drummer) lay down some tracks on a heavier project because tbh I'm not a big fan of TWIABP even though I've seen em live and listened to all their stuff. Steven though. I mean check out the band on his shirt. Cerce fucking destroys. I feel like TWIABP holds him back.

  29. S.... x....

THIS IS SO PERFECT THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS RECORD

  30. t.... ....

quite possibly the edgiest song ever written

  31. A.... i....

Damn you guys are fucking amazing!!!!

  32. A.... i....

    are they a progressive band?

    A.... i....

    they're a band

  33. I.... L....

This is amazing!!!! Best thing I've ever heard.

  34. T.... C....

Good band but too many members are dead weight.

  35. d.... c....

    Their drummer is sublime.

  36. p.... ....

that poetry shit that starts at 0:59 better be a joke otherwise its cringey

  37. M.... G....

Spoken word is OK. Not as obnoxious as normal. Not needed at all though.

  38. C.... D....

Dignity is apparently not on these guys list of priorities.

  39. M.... L....

    Musical rollercoaster. Love it.

  40. S.... ....

They should turn up the volume on the beanie guy's guitar so you can actually hear it.

    S.... ....

it's aux guitar (: u can hear it, it's just adding to their soundscape

    S.... ....

@Kevin Remiker Yeah of course in the ambient parts you can hear it but when they play the more proper structured songs especially the crescendos and louder parts, you can't really hear what he's playing. Unless he's switching his volume up or something I dunno.

  41. B.... E....

    this is good shit!

  42. m.... ....

in my opinion the poetry kinda ruins it :/

  43. K.... ....

I like the spoken word guy in this, but not so much in their live video for "Getting Sodas", and I think it's because he's at least not singing over them in this.

    K.... ....

i honestly kinda like it better like that because it's like the focus isn't him, he's part of the arrangement. just some dude shouting his feelings in the arrangement like any other instrument

  44. E.... R....

I saw these guys live and they were probably the best act I've every seen. Their instrumentals and lyrics are just beautiful

  45. E.... C....

    fuck off ... 😞😒

  46. E.... E....

    "absolutely no one"

  47. D.... T....

:) Nice song... I was moved. BUT - we live in a consumer world, we forget experiences in order to pursuit new ones... so, I think it was the only time in my life when I listened to your song... Good bye, beautiful ones!

    D.... T....

The consumer world is a waste of time, never leave something you wish to stay with just to move to something new

  48. B.... M....

Steve Buttery is the best drummer in the whole indie/emo scene. 10/10

    B.... M....

Brendan Myles What about Dave Haik from Pianos though? That guy's a machine.

  49. M.... ....

    P R E C I P I C E

    M.... ....

this is precipice which is blank #8 and also blank # 9

  50. a.... ....

This is one of the most beautiful things ever recorded...

  51. E.... N....

Can someone send me the transcript to the spoken word part at the beginning???

  52. e.... ....

What kind of guitar does the guy with the yellow plaid have?

    e.... ....

    +Ellescer ™ it's some kind of danelectro

    e.... ....

+Ellescer ™ Pretty sure it's a Reverend Double Agent OG

  53. J.... M....

This generic pseudo intellectual spoken word shit is killing my buz. The instrumental is so fucking good but the "poetry" makes it almost unlistenable.

    J.... M....

I usually like spoken word poetry but this guy is kinda annoying. Ruining this video. So cheesy.

    J.... M....

yeah it's hipster AF but I really liked how it built up and transfered the energy to "heartbeat in the brain" and Idk I related to what he was saying and it was a dope message.

    J.... M....

Yeah it ruined that EP for me too.

  54. T.... B....

50/50 on the spoken word parts, but when it fits together so well as shown in the video it's hard to dislike it.

    T.... B....

+Trash Boat eyy you end up changing your name back to rigby ( love regular show)

  55. R.... H....

What is the black guitar? Not the bassist, not the sg, the weird jazzmaster looking thing with the random volume knob. I want it.

    R.... H....

@Robert Hewitt pretty sure it's some kind of wacky telecaster?

    R.... H....

    @Robert Hewitt I think it's a Reverend double agent.

  56. D.... P....

    Ari Shafir, you're drunk.

  57. Q.... ....

I have a soft spot for emo because it really embodies those anxious, face paced thoughts you get as a teenager that I can relate to so well. It's kind of beautiful actually, it's like you're stepping out of this safety zone of being a kid and entering the real world, which has it's fair share of good and bad.

    Q.... ....

a lot of emo is about growing up but it's not just that! this song in particular (Heartbeat in the Brain) is about moving and starting a new life! That's a universal thing.

    Q.... ....

except its not just something you feel as a kid. youre making people that feel and think outside of societys bullshit irrelevant by saying shit like that.

    Q.... ....

    this is real emo

    Q.... ....

    What is face paced?

    Q.... ....

That's why I still listen to emo as a 22 year old lol

  58. N.... M....

What kind of genre would you classify this music? Also, the guy who did the spoken word, is that the only thing he does? Lol he sat down for the rest of the video.

    N.... M....

    @Nishanth Moses EMO

    N.... M....

    @Nishanth Moses It's emo/post-rock

    N.... M....

They did a collab album w/ him. he's not a permanent member in the band so he kind of features on some songs

    N.... M....

An interview with the band determined they consider themselves indie-rock.

  59. D.... G....

I like this music but my god that drummer is so awesome!!

  60. A.... ....

I thought the spoken word was great, in all honesty.

  61. A.... ....

That spoken word stuff was the best thing about this! Without that it would have just been pretty normal post rock kind of stuff... Amazing!

  62. E.... J....

Dude, Ari Shaffir's new band is awesome.

    E.... J....

+erique johnson After watching the video I'm still convinced it's him

    E.... J....

Dude I think the same thing every time I watch I it! I want to watch Ari, watch this, after eating some mushrooms , while listening to a surround sound system, turned up as loud as it can go.

    E.... J....

    That's the good life!

    E.... J....

Lmao I thought the exact same thing

  63. F.... ....

"...and if new born babies could speak, they'd be the most intelligent people on earth"

    F.... ....

i cringed hard on this part. but the performance is amazing

  64. m.... ....

I honestly had mixed feelings about the spoken word parts, thinking that they were cheesey, but I found myself relating to it a lot, especially the bit about praying.

  65. A.... ....

I really want to like this band, the instrumentation is fantastic but the vocals, spoken as well as sung, are really not good. All four musicians playing their instruments are fantastic at doing so, especially that drummer and guitarist. Too bad the vocals are taking away from the rest of the band for me, cause again I'm really trying to like these guys but I can't get past those vocals. Maybe I'll try a few other songs and give them a chance cause these guys have a lot of potential.

    A.... ....

@John Thomas To each his own but, their singer is fucking great...

  66. P.... W....

I loved the intro and holy shit that drummer is awesome!

  67. B.... L....

I really want to enjoy the spoken word but god damn it's just so... bad. The music itself is so beautiful but fuck it's like listening to myself think in 6th grade, man.

  68. W.... C....

dude the DRUMMER THO beast mode always on

  69. J.... S....

Awesome Weatherbox shirt up in there.

  70. E.... U....

the opening spoken word is freaking beautiful

  71. K.... H....

In reckless acts of self definition I jump, and I ask that you'll join me..

  72. T.... L....

    Do they have 4 guitarists?

    T.... L....

There’s 3 guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, a keys/synth player, the main vocalist, and the spoken word guy but he was only there for 1 of the tours they did

  73. B.... M....

    Love the drummer.

  74. k.... ....

he looks lik he knows how to make a pizza"

  75. P.... A....

If you don't felt the feeling that musicians felt in every song they have made then I recommend to
    Shut the Fuck Up!!!

  76. K.... ....

didn't know zach galifianakis was in twiabp

  77. S.... N....

It was so good until that second guy started singing

    S.... N....

    a solid 8/10 tho

  78. T.... M....

Weird lookin dudes.... Great band tho.

  79. N.... H....

what kind of cymbals is that drummer using? i know theyre meinl, but what are the sizes and stuff, if anybody knows?

  80. M.... M....

How have I never heard this before? The Spoken word part was amazing! It reminded me of La dispute, and it gave me the chills, I actually thought the guy with the main vocal line was weak compared to the rest of the song. Either way, I am now officially a fan!

  81. i.... ....

    jerome brown is not funny

    i.... ....

@***** bro this vid almost made me die jerome brown yah filthy animal

    i.... ....

@***** bro lookin back your comment is mad funny rofl kudos to you to thinkin this spoken word shit is lame its never done well especially not here this shit is gay as fuck

  82. S.... W....

I'm sorry but every time this guy talks it reminds me of that Tim and Eric bit where the two guys wearing turtlenecks talk about the universe. I'm just always anticipating for the guy to start talking about throwing stars in hot dog buns.

    S.... W....

    please fucking link me!!!

    S.... W....

just Youtube search "Tim and eric universe" and pick the "extanded edition" one

    S.... W....

    I fucking hate this guy

  83. F.... L....

    Tera melos ripoff

  84. o.... h....

Am I the only one that thinks the spoken word sounds kind of like Being As An Ocean?

    o.... h....

Yes you are the one and only preson who thinks that. Being as an Ocean is way better than this

    o.... h....

    I'll definitely agree with that.

  85. s.... s....

    PRECIPICE

  86. L.... K....

Why is Zac Galifianakis singing in an emo band

  87. s.... ....

    So amazing.

  88. M.... M....

I love this! The spoken word part is beautiful.

  89. M.... E....
