The instrumentals in this song are killer

The title "grunge" made me think of Nirvana so I tried hard to find inspiration of Nirvana in this song. The guitar bits in the verses (and bridge) sounded a bit like the verse in Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box". A much more distorted version, sort of. I think I'm trying too hard to create connections.

I find when it comes to music, there is no point in arguing about something being objectively better, because everyone likes different things, and who is anyone to say that a band sucks when so many people love them? It's hard not to say Justin Bieber sucks, but people still love his music so obviously he is doing something right, even if I absolutely hate everything he does. :P People here in the metalcore/post-hardcore scene are very passionate about their favorite bands. You could devote an entire school paper on the fanbase of Black Veil Brides, trust me.

@Masonzero Digital Works  you're most welcome, thank you!   I have to bait people a bit,I hate doing that, but  I did notice the different reactions I received from this genre to pop and country were about the same, no respect for personal opinion,passionate or not, I wrote the band sucks, and the fans attacked me personally, but when I made the same post on a  punk bands site to the 90's rock bands, the reactions were shockingly different, hardcore punk fans were nice or didn't care what I wrote because they know their music is controversial, I found the bands that had more to convey about politics to religion and current events had more intelligent fans even a broad age group and maybe more college age and older, so the fan base mentality was clearly more open minded, just my analysis, country music fans were the most hateful and violent.. lol
