This song still has those amazing riffs and sounds from The Deceiver, I feel like Life Cycles is too different from their debut album, which I absolutely adore. Their sound was more distinct and heavier imho.

I recorded all the vocals on Life Cycles not because Zack "fucked up his voice" but because the recording process took longer than expected, so I had to be tracking in California while they finished in Indiana.

Okay, Tony does the harmonies for some of the singing live, and i've even seen him do some screams. Zack has always done back-up screams live, and he did a lot of the overlay screams on Empire and Deceiver.

For some reason the word alive has always has always been the band that when i listen to certain songs, like this one and lights and stones, i honestly hate them the first time i listen to them. i have no idea why. now i come back almost a year later and listen to those two again, and im like wow what was i thinking? this shit is amazing. you guys and blessthefall have been my favorite bands for YEARS (i started listening to you guys before you even put out your ep), cant wait for the new album!

I wish i could go TDWP tour cause they have their new cd which is way better than their previous album of "Roots above and branches below".
