Wonder, Stevie - Fingertips (Part 2) Lyrics
Everybody say yeah (yeah!)
Say yeah (yeah!)
Say yeah (yeah!)
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Clap your hands just a little bit louder
Clap your hands just a little bit louder
I know ? yeah
Everybody had a good time
So if you want me to
If you want me to
I'm gonna swing the song, yeah
Just one more time when I come by
So be advised (?)
(How about it? Let's hear it for him, huh? Little Stevie Wonder. Take a bow, Stevie.)
Come on!
Goodbye goodbye
Goodbye goodbye
Goodbye goodbye goodbye
I'm gonna go, yeah
I'm gonna go, yeah
? swingin' from my ?

Go ahead Mr. Wonder with your bad self.
One of my coworkers was named Steveland Morris Butler in honour of Stevie Wonder
the GREATEST harmonica player in the world and one of the GREATEST PERFORMERS!
Marvin Gaye on drums. Killing it.
Wow!....I remember when me and my sisters were little, my mom and dad went to see him at the Apollo..they called him "Little Stevie Wonder" ♥️♥️♥️
First heard this on an album Motown Memories Vol. 2 in 1969, have loved it ever since ......it captures the excitement that is often lost on live recording, you feel as if you’re part of it. Fantastic and he was 12 !!!
Marvin Gaye is on drums on this track.
This was recorded "live" at the Apollo Theater in New York with the house band. Marvin played drums on Motown studio tracks.
@George Willett THANK YOU George! what i always thought some poor misguided soul said it was performed in chitown :)
2:25 What Key... what Key???
This guy here, oh my goodness we danced in the streets listening to him. His magic lit up the summer nights and made everything feel alright..
What key? ;what key?
one of the most exciting performances ever recorded. sounded great coming out of an AM radio in 1963.

There is a kinescope-type recording of the entire Fingertips Pts 1 & 2 on YouTube too.
Saw him in the Brooklyn Fox Theater in 1962 or 1963. We share the same age . I was not only amazed at his talent but he was also so poised. Still a great singer songwriter....
Listen to the guitarist in the encore saying "What key"..."What Key". It is priceless.
Grant Hopkins that is immortal!
Which minute?
