I dont understand this video...

I believe Jesus still speaks in parables and this video makes it obvious to me. The video portrays a man being assaulted and killed. But we are all dead men and women until we repent of our sin receive the grace that God has given us.

Wow, this song is strong, emotionally and the music style is what makes me drawn to this song. I hope other people can use this song to change their views and hopefully live better lives.

This song is amazing in that it exemplifies God's grace, mercy, and ultimate forgiveness. EVERYONE, no matter what they've done, can accept God's forgiveness and salvation! God will LITERALLY, and I know what "literally means," forgive anyone's sin. That is the INCREDIBLE thing about Christianity!

Totally amazing work! I have never thought I would like sooo much this style of music (before Christ I was listening to some hard music too but it was making me even more depressed and angry). I made a Spotify playlist for my mission trip to Honduras this past summer. This was one of the first songs I put on it. I listened to this song at least a dozen times while on the trip, and now I get a nostalgic feeling every time I hear it. It takes me back to that life changing experience.

Fernando Silva wow. I really appreciate your comment. I actually am religious; I'm new in my faith. I struggle from time to time with giving up my music like Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, and Asking Alexandria because some of their lyrics are really...shall we say not religious? Lol

But seeing that verse in this context really helped. I actually only like music for music and then later I find out what the lyrics say. So thank you for helping me.

I thought I could not listen to rock. When I gave my life to Jesus I went through some experiences where he said that he respects me the way I am. Then I discovered several rock bands that talk a lot about Jesus and much of the bible, like BoughtXBlood, Foor Today, Fireflight, Love and Death and many others. And then I understood within the word of God, that we should worship him in all ways and the way we are. Do not give up sometimes it may seem difficult, but the word of God says:

2 Timothy 1: 7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.

And moreover, struggling to face it shows maturity. Congratulations.

You guys rock man! I admire the fact you guys try to pour as much of the Gospel as you can not only in lyrics, but even between songs on stage! Sadly, most professing "Christian bands" say foolish things like they "don't wanna shove it down kids throats." They fail at fulfilling Mark 16:15, to preach the Gospel to all the world.

I dislike certain churches who force it and those who add onto the gospel. The word was meant to be shared as it was, there's there's no good deeds you have to do in order to go to heaven. No one is perfect and no one will ever be as good as the Holy Trinity.
All one has to do is accept the christ I to their heart and stay true to your promise. Sure one can go off the trail but as long as they know they are saved and that God is with them, they are safe.

I have to say, a number of the replies here break my heart and are quite frightening. I think they echo/exemplify the warning behind JSkeletons comment.
Accept with your mind, Believe with your heart, confess with your mouth to be saved. But then you have to start living it. Faith without works is Dead, but Works done without faith are also useless.
We are called to share the gospel, but not in a militant way, in a way that shows our love for others. If you confess to be a believer, but your heart is not breaking for the lost enough for you to tell your friends about your faith, then you hate your brother, and the Love of God is not in you. How can you be a Christian and not live every aspect of your life every day as though you were? You are rejecting the very words of Christ who called you to do just that!
And I say this with nothing but a breaking heart.....he will then reject you when you stand before him. ....
