@vinny What are you talking about? Tyler had his normal voice volume. Jonny's was amped down.

Johnny is in the left channel only and Tyler is mostly in the right and somewhat the left but its faint kind like he's center stage but leaning toward the right.

understand the band and its genre before you speak.

austin the drummer. came from a band called of machines. its an ambient post hardcore band. he wanted to move the sound of their second album to a heavier darker kinda sound and go to metalcore. the rest of the band didnt. he leaves they eventually break up while austin is forming woe is me.

austin used of machines as the base of woe is me's sound.

he swapped the softer ambient kinda sounds for industrial sounds and other things used in ambient kinda ways. and changed post hardcore instrumentals to metalcore. he retained a few things like ambient vocals being used to give background sounds and fill the soundstage so to speak. if you listen with good headphones or a proper speaker set up it sounds proper.

it sounds like you have johnny singing close up and quiet for like ambiance with tyler giving his full out vocals with the trippy music going off.

listen to some industrial music and its derivatives and check out some ambient music.

in ambient music things including instrumentals are used in weird ways at times, like some bands use electronic sounds for the up front music and then have guitars and stuff making different sounds or playing in the background.

industrial is just well, broad, there are loads of styles. but basically sampled sounds, often make use of drum machines. keyboards. often will have improvised percussion instruments sorta like in slipknot or a few other metal bands.

id say check out rammstien or kmfdm for industrial metal.

einsturzende neaubauten for old school industrial.

terminal choice for some newer industrial kinda music.

for other industrial metalcore bands. well not many. you have motionless in white, which is a more basic example. or the witch was right. which is still more industrial sided. woe is me was like the perfect fusion with just enough outside influence.

Tyler Carter and Michael Bohn can do no wrong.  I swear. Jonny isn't too bad either.

Back before the guys left the band, the comments on this song were very nice to read. There were people thanking every member of the band, telling them how much the lyrics to this, and the other songs meant to them. I look now, and it's mind blowing. I would hope that these comments are from people 14 and under? People laughing at someone's breakup, judging people for being "emo", and so much more. There is a song here guys.
