the more that I’m open the more that I bleed... that’s facts
When I say this keep in mind something as symbolic as this video is interpreted by the current feelings and mental state of the viewer.
In the video I feel he being put in this box as a mold of expectations of what he needs to be, the water is the expectations, how well he is handling the water is how he is coping with these expectations, and the 'spectators' around him is everyone watching him. The water is the expectations really testing him and him struggling with them. He feels very insecure struggling with these expectations so he is combatting and trying to get himself above them when he splashes around the water so the 'spectators' won't judge him as heavily. At the end he manages to magically leave this box and that is him leaving the mold of expectations and no longer caring about the other people's perspectives and opinions about him. In essence, once you escape this mold you can pursue in your dreams rather than what is influenced upon you (typically an office job, specifically a lawyer or doctor.) and live secure and not worry about the others thoughts specifically about his passions and career. Mind this is just my view and will indefinitely change over time. As I continue watching this video throughout time, I plan on editing this comment by adding more perspectives. 👍

I haven't read all of the comments so forgive me if im mentioning whats already been said, but this is how interrupt it. First the water is his emotions and the more he lets out the more he drowns. Also people dont start paying attention until he does this like, the only thing that gets him views is his emotional work. I can agree with this because witts songs with more emotion and story telling seem to be his more popular, but thats what defines him. Its killing him.. But yet people are still watching more and more and thats what he wants on the surface. but deep down hes dying. All the other pieces of art are other artists and now that his emotions are in full swing people now care to pay attention to him. Its almost like he doesn't know whether people only watch him or not just because of this.
