Witchcraft - Samaritan Burden Lyrics

Guilty by all means
How to survive
This day means so much
I've paid my debts to you

Sleep in fusion file
Awaken by the guilt again
Bear my innocence
Wake my innocence

It's just a spectre
An interlude of confusion
Don't let it scare you so
Be it thoughts of amusement
The light counters dark as it reaches its peak
Blend and balance, the bold takes it all

The threshold's been diminished
Your ideals are gone
The struggle almost over
You've found your pot of gold

Learning to pray upon these false indications
Clinging to this nothingness might do you good

Solve this riddle, the answer lies within
Tantoblin knows where the hierogram is

  1. T.... D....

  2. D.... A....

The strings on the last verse sound awesome.

  3. L.... Q....

is this song referring to something specific? "Samaritan Burden", what could it be? Christ told his disciples that Samarita had been blessed by the Holy Spirit and that they must go there, Simon Magus (A prophet largely considered the catalyst too 'Gnosticism'), was a Samaritan and is coined with the writing the Pistis Sophia. It also could be referring to Simon Magus in the, I believe Acts of the Apostles offering money for the Holy Spirit from (I think, Peter?)

    L.... Q....

I once knew, but never more

    L.... Q....

    The merciful samaritan?

    L.... Q....

    but does it matter?
    interpret what you will, but

a good song is a good song

    L.... Q....

It's quite simple... Being a samaritan is a burden. You would no if you tried being one for once in your life.
