Winter, Johnny - Mad Blues Lyrics

Oh baby, it's a sin to tell a lie
Yeah, it's a sin to tell a lie
Girl, the day you start jumpin'
Baby, that's the day you die

Baby, you'd best believe me what I say
Yeah, best believe me what I say
Don't ask 'bout no trouble,
'Cause I'll plug you anyway

You think you got yourself some trouble, you know that's true
I believe somethin' bad gonna happen to you

Yeah, it's a sin to tell a lie
Baby, the day you start jivin',
That's the day you die

Go ahead now, whip it up!

Yeah baby, you'd best believe me when I say
Yeah, you'd best believe me when I say
Please don't buy no trouble,
'Cause I'll blow your head away

Yeah go on, go on guitar!

Oh baby, I done heard this stuff before
Baby, baby, I done heard this stuff before (you know I have)
You prayin' all night long,
Baby, please don't go

Oh baby...
Baby, yeah...
You know I been a long time, baby...
You know I ain't lyin' baby, baby...
Baby, baby...

Winter, Johnny Mad Blues Comments
  1. A.... C....

o blues é triste ? acho que não

Nothing But The Blues was a total Mississippi Delta style blues album. It was a prelude to his work with the late, great Muddy Waters. A complete turn around for the legendary Johnny Winter who released prior to this, Captured Live, which was an ass kicking rock and roll album. Then again, Johnny Winter was musically well diverse. It didn't matter what JW did, he was an amazing musician, and it was always top shelf.

Well he might have tried to "borrow" JW's stuff. But no one and I mean no one can touch Johnny. They can try to copy his stuff, but you can tell the difference.

Clapton's biggest luck is called John Mayall, Johnny Winter and JJ Cale... IMHO
