Winter, Johnny - Done Somebody Wrong Lyrics

The bell has tolled, my baby caught that train and gone.
The bell has tolled, my baby caught that train and gone.
It was all my fault, I musta did somebody wrong.

Everything that happens, you know I am to blame.
Everything that happens, you know I am to blame.
Gonna find myself a doctor, maybe my luck will change.

My mama told me, these days would surely come,
I wouldn't listen to her, had to have my fun.
The bell has tolled, my baby caught that train and gone.
It was all my fault, I musta did somebody wrong.
Yeah.

The bell has tolled, my baby done caught that train and gone.

Oh, yeah.

Duane died in 1971, so who is playing the other slide guitar here ?

    g.... ....

Only Johnny is playing Slide. Dickey Betts would be playing the other guitar, Although I don't hear a second guitar in this one. As Jim McTighe stated above, he was there and said Dickey Betts left the stage when Johnny came on. So it was only Johnny playing slide.

I was there too and remember Betts walking off stage as if he was pissed at Johnny, maybe it's just my fading memory, The band seemed timid until Johnny took over.

You had better seats then we did.

    J.... M....

My dad was in advertising and knew all the radio guys so we got some choice seats once in awhile. Always liked the H.Bowl. They kinda ruined it with the acoustic tubes and draining the pool in front of the stage. Saw Hendrix there in 68 and people were jumping in the pool splashing around. Roadies freaking out trying to keep Jimmie dry...lol.

Thanks for posting this.  I was there too, the first concert I ever went to.  Flo and Eddie opened, Loggins and Messina were next (known then as The Kenny Loggins Band with Jim Messina), and headliner the Allman Brothers with special guest Johnny Winter.  This was not long after Duane died.  Berry Oakley was with them but would die a few months later as you say in your description.  I especially remember "One Way Out" - I was absolutely hooked on southern rock for years after that.  It heavily influenced my own guitar playing.  The high priced seats were $7.50. :)

There too. We live on.........................and go back to the these fantastic days

Have you seen him performing with the Warren/Dickie version of the ABB? It's on You Tube. I also got the bootleg version of this whole concert in '72 on Vinyl. It was cool hearing Berry do the little Bass solo I'd remembered him doing after stepping up to the front of the stage for a bit.
