Still hyper. I visited Paul's Forthlin Rd childhood home twice. Still hyper. I had my photo taken outside his Sussex Icklesham recording studio. Still hyper. I visited the Casbah club in Hayman's Green, Liverpool and chatted to Rory Best. Still hyper. I visited The Cavern, Liverpool. Still hyper. I visited Trident studios London and heard the Master tapes of Hey Jude. Still hyper.

I'm so used to seeing videos of the 70+ year-old Paul playing this song (amazingly) - my first reaction to seeing this vid (which I've seen many time before) was "Hey - who does this kid think he is - playing Paul's song like it was his own?" and then "oops - oh yeah."

I always like the live versions of Band on the Run better than the studio version. Don't get me wrong the studio version is phenomenal, but the live versions have more of a hard rock vibe to them that I like
