Kotzen is easily the greatest guitar player in the world right now.

You might prefer his style the most, but in terms of technicality others outshine him.
We all have different preferences when it comes to musicality and writing, thus Richie might speak to you in a way that no one else does, which makes him the best in your opinion. But let's just remember to keep subjectivity and objectivity seperated. You might have meant what I just wrote, but it can easily be misinterpreted!

Guthrie does his thing and it's great. But Richie has shown alot of diversity since he started as a shredder in the 80s. Dude's played with both Poison and Stanley Clarke. Not many guys that could pull that off.

He's even jammed and is admired by Guthrie, lol.

Richie es un guitarrista muy virtuoso, pero su voz resulta enfermantemente idéntica a la de Cris Cornell...   Shehan y Portnoy son perfectos...   Virtuosismo en su máxima expresión. 

The BEST BAND in the past 10 years...Saw them from the front row last year and it blew my mind...Don't get much better!!!!

I accidently stumbled upon this song while trying to figure out how to use the computer in my new car! Well its a 2010 but its new to me. This song is absolutely awesome, I love it. Just good old straight up rock and roll which you don't hear a lot of these days, at least not sounding this good! Very addictive tune!

i just discovered that richie has an amazing voice and live is great too, better than all most famous singer of the 80s.....the only bad point is the chorus of some of their songs,they sounds too mainstream and repetitive....and sometimes they remind me too much mr big s melodies....i think if they are so talented musicians have time to create something unique...i d say that chriss cornell even if he can t play guitar as good as this guy, he has a much much much more creative and original carier. i also have to say that portnoy doesn t look good playing this genre....sorry but he is not that versatile.he plays too safe.

I saw them twice recently (Monsters of Rock Cruise).  They are every bit as spectacular as you think they will be!  They were absolutely awesome!

Music is awesome but i think portnoy should change his image, its boring to see him the same as he was in Dream Theater.

@RocDisjoint hehe Yes... if you compare with what he's done in the past then yes it can sound little hupsy dupsy but if you listen carefully... there are elements and things that hagar rock lacks... the same as a guitarist i can say about Richie ... he plays way more easy than when he was younger... but he has way way more feeling, dynamic and sound... So in the nutshell its how and what you listen.... and if you will compare old with new... then man... you are in the way for some depressive days :)   

@Rai Rai man of course i care about the music too, (im a guitar player with 5 years of experience) and i know image is not as primordial as the technique and soul,its just my opinion of how Portnoy looks,i thought he would change his image cause he is in new proyects , but if he is confortable with his looks, its ok.

I think their chorus is quite "mainstream". Some parts are really cool though. I like the jazzy Guthrie Govanish part though.

These guys Billy Sheehon-Bass Mike Portnoy-Drums were Destine to be together with (Richie Kotzen Vocal and Guitar Sensation) I love the way (R.K.) fingers the Guitar and Sings like many I've heard before?! But, I can't pin his vocals down? It is different sound on many songs. It's Richie Kotzen to me!

Cornell can sing, but he would never be the lead guitar in a band. The only power trio he played with was RATM to back him up while Richie needs no guitar while he sings and shreds that tele. I like Cornell but I love Kotzen, he is way much more versatile

Sheehan should be wearing a real Nazi Afrika korps cap. The opening had a great splash and a whisper that should have become like Bowie's "Fame fame fame..." but ascending upwards.  That would have been the catch, the hook, the main idea to center the song around.  The sensitivity and musicianship is there but no big, big big big, REAL BIG ideas!  You need somebody to make you guys lucky!   

Damn, Richie can really sing. I've always loved his guitar work. I never knew he was such a talented vocalist.

It would've been really cool if the 3D effect was truly in effect for this.

We already know he is a legend on the drums, no surprises there. But it takes real professionalism to migrate from prog metal to simpler rock and roll. A true musician indeed.

This band is so good they are going somewhere...Just a matter of time before the general public takes notice.

This is THE band that should be winning all the Grammy Best New Artist of the Year Awards but they will not even be mentioned I bet. Just shows how corrupt and misguided the music industry is these days eh?

I agree. Its nothing incredible, but still a very enjoyable band. I have always been a big fan of Richie Kotzen since his very first solo album.

The best group I've heard in many,many years. Everyone knows the talent all the members have but to make their songs with great melodies,hooks and harmonies is just amazing. This group..these three masters of their art,is going far.
