Just listen to the forest by the cure... I DON'T see the connection... at all!

I have come to accept that it's actually okay when songs sound like previously composed songs when they have taken the original chords and do something so very different. "The Forest" is an incredible song in it's own right, but this... THIS is something altogether larger. It's not not to say anything like "it's better", but that its so incredibly different even when you can hear that the core chords are obviously near-identical. "The Forest" is decidedly minimal and wintery as I would assume The Cure intended it to sound. This song is downright sinister and far-reaching. I love them both.

This song is so damn cool. Maybe my favorite SW solo song, which is really saying something (so...many...good...options...) The video is perfect for the music, too. I'm going to have to check out that movie.
