Well I think it's great. Sure its very different from the original but it has its own merits.

I was hoping for some magic from the combination of Brian Wilson and the unparalleled Gershwin songs. This version reduces an American classic to a third rate jingle that one might expect to hear on a McDonald's commercial. How sad.

This is Wilsons interpretation of this song using his Beach Boys shuffle technique.
Compare him to Gershwin ? They're two very different artists , both wrote countless songs with very interesting and complex arrangements in two very different eras. Both are truly unique American songwriters.
