Wilson, Brian - Good Kind Of Love Lyrics
He loves her when she's sleeping
And all the dreams she's keeping
She keeps him in a jar but not too far from her heart
They have the good kind of love
They have the right kind of thing
Right kind of thing, right kind of thing
Makes me wanna sing it to you
Just him and her
They're so close together
Now they just met
And scored a newfound treasure
Woah, woah
Right in his arms
They have the good kind
They have the good kind
They have the good kind of love
Now she finds peace in knowing (She knows)
Knowing he'll always be there (Always)
Imagine all the women who'd like a man like him
They have the good kind of love
Good kind of love, good kind of love
They have the right kind of thing
Right kind of thing, right kind of thing
Makes me wanna sing it to you
Just him and her
They're so close together
Now they just met
And scored a newfound treasure
Woah, woah
Run to him, run to him
Right to his arms, yeah
They have the good kind
They have the good kind
They have the good kind of love
Sun keeps on shining
He rolls round heaven above
A little bit of loving and a-kissin' and a-huggin'
That's how they fell in love
They have the good kind
They have the good kind
They have the good kind of love

That's what I call legendary !
heavenly!
Carole King's singing on this one.
Beautiful
Looooooove this one. Really nice album.
There is a 3rd version -- a duet with Carole King -- which was a bonus track on the album -- but I haven't been able to find it.
are you sure this isn't it, sound weird to me
I love this album! This song stands out great as a single. Great work Brian :)
This is truly classic music from the king of harmoney,so refreshing and inspational!!!! good kinda luv,its what we all need!!!!!!!
Great song!!!!!!!!!!!! luv it!!!!!!
One of my favorite songs on the 'lucky old sun' record
This version is actually really good! I never heard it before and I'm pleased I found it.
id like jeff lynne and roy wood to produce brians next album anyone agree
It's a demo.
This album is incredible, I love it. It's my "feel good" album.
It's on the CD.
@jmm1000 : many thanks, my friend ! I've heard a few 'supposed' BW fans say that this album is too 'pretentious' for their liking (can't quite figure that one out, I'm afraid) ... however, for my money, this album is one of the most positive, all-round 'feel good' original albums that I've heard BW create from-scratch, for some considerable time (I've been a BW & BB fan since about 1967 .. an old fart nowadays .. but I'll love BW & his music til I die). Happy Yuletide to you !
@colindominy - totally agree Colin!!
Just read Brian's bio. Heavy stuff altho they say it was written by his psychiatrist. Great song, though.... read the album isn't that hot.
Brian's best album since 1988 (not including Smile, of course).
I really think that this is one of THE stand-out songs on the album. So positive ! So uplifting ! Fabulous, moving lyrics that reach out & touch you - distinctly romantic. This melody, the beat and the arrangement sounds so classically like the old HAPPY Brian Wilson we all know & love so well. All up - a genuinely beautiful landmark in BW's long, long career. Aren't we privileged and blessed !!
I love this track. I love playing this track on my radio show!! :)
GO BRIAN WILSON!!!
How many Artist's can re-invigerate and make classic Music over 40 years after the Bands hey Day, hardly any !!!! But Brian Wilson can... He is THE MAN !!!!!! Great Song
This song really got better with each listen. It realy sparkles (for lack of a better term). Thanx!
Cool fact; Brian wrote all the words of this song himself. This is an awesome demo. The album version is phenomenal.
It sounds like an incomplete version of the album track, a rough, unmastered mix lacking some of the final backing vocals and instrumentation.
its a demo most of the backing vocals are brian
History will place That Lucky Old Sun on the level of Beach Boys Toady!

ok, now that i've listened until the end of the song, the transition clearly shows this isn't a demo. strange...
is this a demo or something? the production is weird.
Actually, according to the credits on the vinyl, Scott did NOT write the lyrics for this one. It is listed as a solo Brian composition.
