Wilson, Brian - Baby Mine Lyrics
Baby mine, don't you cry (don't you cry)
Baby mine, dry your eyes (dry your eyes)
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Don't you mind what they say (what they say)
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you
You're not much, goodness knows (goodness knows)
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
(The right to hold you)
From your head to your toes (to your toes)
You're not much, goodness knows (goodness knows)
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
Baby of mine

Carying Bruce Johnston Baby?
Wow I like this version! Not as good as the Bette Midler one, but it's in an entirely different mood, so who's to judge.
That Funny! Cheers!
I heard this song before it came out on CD.
Lovely album for specialy kids and ofcourse adults
@BeachBoy420Beef Is "Going Home" on TLOS not a rock song? And what about many of his early songs ("I get around for instance) - are they not rock songs?
Of course he has written many amazing pop tunes, but to say that he is not a rock artist is maybe a bit exaggerated :)
@2ndoboe dig bonnie raitts version
This song was also covered by Alison Kraus and Union Station, it is the SWEETEST lullaby ever.
hey this is great
@wgdanson haha, yeah. That's what I meant
I'm very excited for the album's release! So far the previews I've heard sound fantastic!
I can't wait for the day when the Beach Boys have one more no.1 song. I know they've got just one more. I can feel it!
@SixTailights ...Mike Love used the same Beach Boys-like background vocals on his solo lps and it was worse than this. The problem here is that hardcore Brian fans, like myself, are waiting for the rock album he WANTS to do. Even Dr. Landy knew that Brian's fans wanted to hear his vocals. Now is the time for Brian to cut ties and work with Andy Paley, Danny Hutton & Van Dyke Parks.
Brian Wilson is a guiness! And when I learned he was doing a Disney Album, I couldn't wait, but I'd expected something better than this. Sounds like Bruce Johnston in the backing vocals.
I love this.
Awesome
