But I think it a shame Sr don't get the proper respect n mention on them songs n yes Hank Sr wrote n song 167 of his own . I just don't see how anyone in their right mind can deny him the RESPECT HE DESERVES THANK U AND SORRY FOR SO LONG. P.SS U can listen 2 the words and recitations and u can even tell it was at least started and almost finished by the Great HANK SR. I may be wrong but I thought he wrote this for the first farm aid concert . I always associated it with the loss of the family farm in America and if I am wrong it will always mean that to me. The family farm is the chair that rocked us all.
