Williams Jr., Hank - Paying On Time Lyrics

I'm sure that I won't be your first or your last I'm sure I'm just one of many
You are the kind that would make a man ask does she love me or this money
But I'll pay whatever the cost tryin' to get back part of me that I've lost
I'll stand in line payin' on time for you

I guess that it's true that most men are weak they just can't make it alone
They like to be known by the women they keep instead of one woman at home
So I'll pay whatever it takes tryin' to get back part of my younger days
Yeah I'll stand in line payin' on time for you

So I'll pay whatever it takes tryin' to get back part of my yesterdays
I'll stand in line payin' on time for you

I have the original album, 8 track, cassette, cd. Am I old or what? Have to admit that when the 8 track player came out in cars that was the coolest of things. Nothing like making your favorite music where you could listen to it anytime.

I still have this one on an old 8-track. This was a great Hank Jr. Album.

This Album was released sometime in 1978. It was on the billboard chart in the mid 80's. In fact, many of Hank's older albums were on the charts during the mid & late 80's. This Albums has a more pop sound than Hank's other albums. Great songs on this one...I still listen to this album like I did long ago.
