I remember when my big brother's first born son used to sing the words to this song and then years down the roadwe went to one of his concerts in Arkansas and I spent my time in the bathroom throwing up those were the good old days I wish I could go back in time somehow to make things like they used to be because we don't even speak to each other now and I miss that so badbut I doubt that will happen in time is running out we're all getting older pretty soon it will be too late

BOCEPHUS made a lot of great songs but this one is probably his best, in my opinion.

Although this is a great song, I think his voiced improved and was more perfected from 1970-1980 that is only when he really tried; but often Hank didn't take his own voice or his own talent as seriously as he should have after 1982. He was only 18 or 19 here and he had not yet peaked vocally in my opinion. Listen to one of the good one's from '70-74' and you'll likely agree. "The Last Love Song", "Pride's Not Hard to Swallow", "Eleven Rose"; all definitely more vocally pure and a voice that's all his own. This voice, in my opinion, was a hybrid mix from his own and his dad's..

My sister found me a copy of that movie last Christmas. Good music throughout, but the story was not that good. Don't even ask about the acting lol. I still enjoyed it.
