Some fans of The Civil Wars seem to think that John Paul White was the main songwriter for the group and that it wasn't a 50/50 deal....I'll admit that I questioned it as well. But after listening to this album, I think it's safe to say that Joy is every bit as creative and brilliant as JP is. She's definately proving that she's got a place in the music industry as a solo artist. Officially obsessed <3
If you listen to John Paul White's new album you may believe that he was the primary song writer in my opinion anyway.
