If it wasn't hank Johnny Horton or Cash my grandfather wouldn't listen to it he had a lot of there tapes and i would set in the car and would wear it out with him from the very moment i could understand to the day he died so glad my papaw introduce me to these grate artists and that what the bands are artists alot of people and (so called artists to day) will never understand keeping of rhythm and not having voice over and all that junk they use today

I have a copy of the 78, with a number of others by him and Webb Pierce. I took guitar lessons from Tilman Franks in Shreveport and he made all of his students appear in a program on stage at an exposition hall at the fair ground. I played and sang this song at age 9, pretty awful and I remember it with embarrassement but still love the song. Sorry

My father and I used to sing these songs when I was a little boy usually in his old 51 Chevy pickup. (No radio) He passed away two months ago. Bad between us. But good memories. We are Native Americans.
