Yet another successful country singer from the great state of Texas has
passed away, at age 78, from emphysema. He
was born in Floydada, near Lubbock, in 1939.
Texas has produced more country singers than you can shake a stick at!
I didn't realize he was born so close to Lubbock. I'll have to let my buddy Glenn know that. And Texas has produced like probably 75% of the Best!
