Yeh, sad that people do not, or can not get down to the BOTTOM of things - being willing to (openly, lovingly) investigate and address all concerns - while dismissing all their pride and/or insecurities to get to the point where they can agree, etc. I believe that THAT is necessary to get to the best - sort of relationships that we (most) want - which if we do not get to, leaves us feeling unfulfilled or incomplete. And I think this is probably ONLY possible with trusting God - to be able to give up our insecurities and pride - to not be concerned about "our" needs - having the confidence to be able to deal with whatever comes / happens - and thus being able to extend patience and love - purely (truly, comfortably) - which makes it possible for the other to give up their concerns and to trust, come to agreement, etc.

This song makes me think sadly about the days I was so troubled and bothered of my mum suffering back 3 years. But for me it's still fascinating and classic song with nostalgia!

How come no one has mentioned the songwriters of this fine song? Bob McDill and Waylan Holyfield. McDill wrote a bunch of songs for Don, and many, many other famous artists.
