One of my older primos (cousins) had a birthday celebrating his 56th birthday a few weeks ago. He and his side of the family are all ranchers from a small Texas town. Anyway, after kicking a few cold ones back with all the family, I asked him “Primo, where can I get me one of those feathers for my hat?” He took his hat off and said “pull that off, it’s yours.” It was such a beautiful moment, and I’ll never forget hearing this song in the background.

Heard this song in the Radio on I-87 yesterday. So beautiful.

Yesterday I had my graduation party and during karaoke, before I left my grandpa said he had a song for me (which was this song) and he was singing this to me as my grandma was hugging me n singing along too. When I hugged him afterwards he said to me "I've waited all week to sing that for you" . It had me crying. Such a classic. Now I can't stop listening to this song :)

Cherish them, love them and live happy moments with them. Grandparents are a blessing to all the one we have here in earth, and after they depart with the Lord to. I only have my one gramma still alive at 87. All othe others are with the Lord. I took care of my gramma close to a year. And even if I had to change her diaper I did it because she is my queen. All her own kids didn't want her, but I did brought her with me. And one of these days I will go get her again.
